Alexei comes from Moldova to join our research staff through the Global Outreach intern program. While following a course of study in plant protection at the Agricultural University of Moldova in Kishinev, he authored a thesis for the Entomology Department entitled "Controlling the Greenhouse White Fly". He completed post-graduate study at the Institute of Advanced Training in Agrobusiness in Kishinev. There, he focused on management while writing a thesis for the Marketing Department titled "Management of Marketing at the Organization Agroinform". Alexei spent three months participating in an agricultural exchange program in Holland. His experiences include working with grape production systems, efficacy work, and three years spent working with plant protection management. In his spare time, Alexei enjoys photography, volleyball, and tending his bees.
