Glades Crop Care, Inc, Jupiter, Florida, has an immediate opportunity for an individual who wants to excel and train to become a leader in professional crop research. The position offers the opportunity to assist in the management of two research farms where products from leading Agricultural Product Manufactures are field tested and to manage field trial projects. Additionally, this position offers the opportunity to train and learn with leading vegetable/citrus consultants throughout the southeast.

Our consultants advise grower clients on over 40 different crops including tomato, pepper, potato, sweet corn, lettuce, cucurbits, citrus, rice, turf and ornamentals. In addition to IPM consulting, Glades Crop Care, Inc. has an extensive contract research department and food safety education & auditing services.

Responsibilities include:
Assistance in the management of research farm facilities.
Manage field trials and projects.
Conduct trials for diverse crops including biofuels.
Integrated Pest Management scouting on multiple crops.
Identify production problems related to IPM service to supervisors.
Utilize equipment such as company vehicles, ATV's, traditional farm equipment and GIS/GPS equipment.

Requirements include:
