Our consultants advise grower clients on over 40 different crops including tomato, pepper, potato, sweet corn, lettuce, cucurbits, citrus, rice, sugarcane, turf and ornamentals. In addition to consulting, Glades Crop Care, Inc. has an extensive contract research department and research farm that performs GLP, efficacy and breeding trials. Cooperative research work with universities, grant awards from EPA, USDA and other agencies help provide responsive solutions to our grower clients' production problems. Our food safety education and program implementation service provides information enabling growers to address today's complex food safety issues.

Responsibilities include:

  • Integrated Pest Management scouting on multiple crops.
  • Identify and solve production problems related to IPM service to farmers.
  • Efficiently utilize equipment such as vehicles, ATV's and GPS/GIS in the field.
  • Assist in research projects.
