Duration:                    Full-Time Staff Position

We are an award-winning TEAM of exceptional professionals working with some of the nation’s most progressive growers/farmers in high-value, fresh-market fruit and vegetables. Our TEAM has delivered valuable, science-based information to growers for over 45 years and is nationally recognized for advocating innovative, sustainable solutions for our grower clients.

Qualified candidates will be trained to scout for various pests, learn treatment thresholds, and advise grower clients on various crops, including tomato, pepper, potato, sweet corn, lettuce, cucurbits, citrus, rice, and sugarcane. They will also collaborate with our Research Division, which conducts multiple trial types from start to finish.

Responsibilities include:

  • Integrated Pest Management (IPM) scouting and consultations on fresh-market vegetable and fruit crops
  • Playing an important role in helping growers make timely, informed, and economical field crop decisions

Requirements include:

  • A desire to work outdoors and the physical ability to walk across uneven fields and spend hours per day in a vehicle;
  • B.S. or M.S. in related agricultural or environmental science disciplines;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and related electronic communication skills
